Powerware has several software programs for automating and timing the shut down of servers.
On our 9 series single and 3 phase UPS systems we have also found it is just important for the customer to know when thier UPS has a potential problem. By utilizing the ConectUPS Web/SNMP card and eNotify, the UPS is monitored 24 x 7 for potential problems, from a simple fan failure to a catstrophic alert. Powerware will monitor the UPS and test its communications daily and send the customer a monthly log of the UPS status. In the case of a potential problem the customer is contacted and informed of the situation and a technician can be dispatched.
UPS power management software is a key component in most UPS solutions. It provides monitoring and graceful computer shut down in the event of a power failure.
The Powerware Software Suite is bundled with all Powerware UPSs. This package contains:
